Serenity Midwifery operates under the strong belief that an individual who truly wants something will find a way to achieve that goal. Helping women find solutions to finance one of the most important events in their lives is a major priority for Serenity Midwifery. Be creative when planning for ways to finance the birth of your dreams.

Tailored payment plans are available to all clients and many forms of payment are accepted, including cash, check, PayPal, CashApp and Venmo. Additional fees may apply to payment methods that charge a transaction fee.

Credit card are now accepted including FSA cards.

Here are some creative ideas that previous clients have used to finance their care:

  • Registering for midwifery services as part of their baby shower gift registry (Serenity Midwifery offers this service upon request)

  • Used 401K funds

  • Personal loan from financial institution

  • Personal loan from family

  • Second / part time job

  • Selling belongings

  • Opening a higher limit credit card to allow for longer loan repayment terms

  • Lowered bills and cost of living (cancelled cable and/ other non-necessities)

  • Utilized a good budgeting software such as YNAB (You Need a Budget)

Even with a hospital birth that is covered by insurance, there are fees that typically aren’t covered that the family is responsible for covering out of pocket. A vaginal hospital birth can leave you with a minimum of $6,000.00 in fees, and a C-section can leave you fees upwards of $15,000.00.
